Crandon Tennis Park Tennis Center and Stadium is home to the Sony Ericsson Open, which is a 12 day tennis tournament featuring the top 96 men and women tennis players in the world. The Tennis Center at Crandon Park has been home of the Sony Ericsson Open, also known as the Miami Masters, since 1987.
The Crandon Tennis Center houses 26 courts, 18 of which are Laykold cushioned hard courts, 6 of which are clay courts (2 with red European clay, 4 with green American clay), and 2 grass courts.
