With much wind interrupting their game, Maria Sharapova defeated Beatrice Capra at the world’s biggest tennis tournament, the US Open. There were 32 mph gusts that actually blew Capra’s visor off her head. The game needed to be stopped four times for napkins, towels, food wrappers and other flying objects caused by the wind. The final score 6-0, 6-0.
